It doesn't seem to matter how hot the summer sun gets here in western Colorado, the weeds in my back yard always seem to flourish. In fact, it seems the hotter and drier it is, the taller the weeds grow. I keep thinking I need to get out there and do something about  them, but there always seems to be something else more pressing. Either that or I just don't feel like doing it.  Plus, there's the little detail of buying weed killer. Have you seen the price of that stuff? I have a hard time bringing myself to shell out the big bucks for something like week killer. So I was delighted to see on Facebook a home made week killer that, if it works, will cost me a slight fraction of what a gallon of Round Up would be.
